KWR Water Research Institute is a private non-profit organization generating scientific knowledge and innovations for the water sector. KWR researchers operate at the interface of science, business and society, excelling in translating scientific findings into practical solutions. KWR has a strong track record in EU projects, and has been managing the Joint Research Programme (Waterwijs) with Dutch and Flemish water utilities for over 40 years, and coordinates the National Water Technology research program (TKI WaterTechnology). KWR leads Watershare, a network of water research institutes and utilities, and is knowledge partner in Allied Waters, a public-private partnership focused on commercializing water innovations.
